Tell tale pumps water at idle, but not under power. Is this OK?

I have 1988 85hp Force outboard. It is running fine. But I have notice that the tell tale is pumping water at idle and 1/4 throttle, but as I increase the throttle, the water slows downs and then stops. I have replaced the impeller and flushed the system, but it has not made much difference. What should I test or replace now.<br />Thanks<br />John

Sounds like the keyway is not holding the impellor on the shaft.

have you tried running around for a cople of minues?!?!? that helps sometimes the motor is still COOOOOLLLL and the thermostat stays open or closed
