temp gauge

Noticed today that the closer I go to WOT, the higher the temp gauge- sits almost on the yellow portion of the gauge. Yes, I am replacing the gauge but is this a warning that the impeller is going?

If you haven't replaced your impeller this year I would do it and see where your temp sits after you replace it.My boat did the same thing until I replaced the impeller then the temp stayed where it belongs. Rising or high temps could be a lot of differnt problems, but the lower end impeller seems to be the most problamatic.
