Tempest, Yamaha, Flo-Torq question

Well I got my prop and the flo-torq in and need to put it on the motor. The motor is a 92' Yamaha Pro V 200. The prop is a Tempest Plus 26P. The flo-torq part number is 835271Q2. In the instructions it says to use a bushing for Tempest props, part (b) of Flo-Torq II manual directions. In part (c) it says to not use the bushing for Yamaha outboards. So here's my dilemma, do I use the bushing since I'm connecting the shaft to a tempest, or not use one since its a yamaha? Any help would be greatly appreciated, and it would help me know what to torque the nut to. Thanks in advance.

Re: Tempest, Yamaha, Flo-Torq question

On the Yamaha, I believe you will use your stock yammy thrust washer insted of the one supplied in the flo-torq kit. Check to see that the thrust washer centers in the front of the hub.....where it will seat when tightened.
Torque should be around 50ftlbs., or 40, then go to the next hole or position in which the fastener will line up.
