The prices of Terrabyte size drives is getting so low I'm going to buy two. One for the source, and one for a backup. Western Digital has been a good performer in the past, and has a nice drive in a case with USB interface, power supply and backup software.
I have started recording family video on SD chips at 1080p (16 gig SD chip holds 240 minutes of 1080 video) and need a large store to keep the files permanently in their original format. Right now burning a 1080p on a DVD means reducing the quality to 720. And I'm not going to invest in Blue Ray burners at this time. Will see what is the best format in a few years....
So any recommendations on Terebyte drives?
Thanks,
Mark
