Test For Leak on Trolling Motor

Minn Kota 80# motor, had to replace brushes once due to water intrusion - which I was totally unaware of. I took the motor in before the warranty ran out to have it totally looked over and thats when it was discovered; which the warranty took care of.....Now, no more warranty and struck an object with motor. Everything still works fine after that. I just got a gut feelin that there could be water intrusion again. Is there an easy way to check for water leaks without tearing motor apart; which I defineately don't want to do.
