Test prop part # 120 wheel work on 150 ?(anyone have a 93 150 manual?)

Hi <br /><br />I was curious if anyone could check to see if my test wheel for my 1990 120 looper could also be used on my cousin's 1993 evinrude 150. He'd like to check his motor with it.<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Alden

If your V4 is the 25" model with the V6 style gearcase or is the 20" and happens to have a V6 style case, yes it will fit. However, it may not be the correct one. You'll have to check the part number of yours against the part number in the V6 service manual.

I know the part # for mine, but I'll have to find a manual for his to check. He doesn't have a book.<br /><br />BTW, I splashed my boat Friday and thanks to all the help you and others have given, my boat flies . Of course, there's always room for improvement.

I want to get my tach verified then it's on to doing some of that performance tweaking I read so much about. <br /><br />My boat leans to port when it really gets going and I figure it's a tourqe thing. I'll start by moving some weight unless you have another idea.

Also.....<br /><br />My friends and family are so impressed with how I've (I=me and the iboats gang) got the engine running from where it was, they want me to look at theirs. <br /><br /><br />If Rodbolt reads this thread, don't worry man, I won't start faking that I'm a real mech.

For a '94 johnson 150 the test wheel is OMC P/N 387388.<br /><br />Hope this helps!
