Before I start to replace relays, and tear apart trim controls. I would like to test the trim motor. On the transom, the trim plug has 2 wires. I'm thinking of landing a jumper on them one at a time to check up and down operation. I am thinking the relays hot one wire to go up, and then hots up the other to go down. I hope this is how they operate. Any suggestions. The drive is a 2011 DPS-A with the trim pump outside. Thanks Dave-R

I woke up and read the sticky on testing the trim. She works okay. If you need to jumper them, use bigger wire than the little ones I used. They heated up fast. Dave-R
