Testing water impellor?

If I were to have the engine cold, and put the boat in the water and disconnect the raw water line at the thermostat and stick it in a bucket how much flow should I see at idle?

I can not tell you how much but it is a strong steady flow, At higher RPMS it looks like a garden hose full on on my boat.

Important to do it at low RPMS and High Rpms as most impellers operate as a displacement pump at low RPMS and a centrifical pump at high RPMS,
