Tex Star tires. Ever heard of them ??

I bought a new MAXEY utility trailer last week, and the tires on it are Tex Star brand trailer tires. I've never heard of them. Anyone know anything about this brand of tires ?? Like who makes them etc.

I've never heard of them, but over the years, a lot of companies have paid tire manufacturers to make tires with their name on them. Tricky to find out who the manufacturer actually is.

Am sad to say they were made in CHINA. They will be replaced with AMERICAN tires this week-end !!!!!!

I'm shopping tires right now too and wanted American...from what I understand there are no tires that are American made anymore. I would be interested in knowing if this is true.

There's been rumor that Goodyear MIGHT be making a few sizes now. But it's still a Goodyear, therefore junk to me. Maxxis is taiwanese, but the best rated tire out there for trailers.

I am going back with COOPER trailer tires. As far as I know they are AMERICAN.

5,000 miles on Maxxis ST tires on my travel trailer. Happy with them so far. Carlisle may make ST tires here. Good luck.
