Texas OMC's Won't Idle in Salt Water

I was wondering what had happened with this topic. We all had a lot of ideas on what may have been causing it {some pretty far out, but possible], but never heard any feedback from the original poster. This was interesting and would like to hear how it came out. ????

This may be a whole different deal but didnt it turn out he was running it on the flush (freshwater) in the driveway vs in the water which happened to be saltwater?<br /><br />That may not even be right but it would be nice to find out.
