I just purchased a 2007 Regal 2000 20ft 5.7 Gi SX at the LA Boat show and I couldn't have done with out the knowlege I gained on iboats. Both I and the dealer came away happy. I used all the negotiating advice I recieved here. The price was about 25% off list price. They threw in a cover, extended 2+5 engine warranty , Coast Guard kit, docking kit and 1/2 off the 20hr service. Now I just have to wait the 8 to 10 weeks it's going to take for the boat to get here. Then it's time to use iboats to get it rigged. Thanks again to all.

Congrats bucky. The Regal is a fine boat.

Now you have a new hole in the water to throw your money in. :p

Make sure to withhold half the funds (or don't sign the loan agreement) until everything is done to the boat, all add-ons are installed, and you have a sea trial.

Roscoe those are some of the lessons that I've learned here at iboats. This dealer will not just turn over the boat to you. They whant to make sure you are happy with it and are familiar with operating it. I've been boatless for 5 years, I can wait for a couple of weeks for it to be right.

WE WANT PICS! WE WANT PICS!

When you can...d:)

FWIW by brother has a 20ft Regal about 15 years old and loves it. Solid as a rock, and thoughtfully laid out and rigged.
