I just wanted t say thank you for giving me pointers for how to remove my water pump and thermostats. I was worried sick about removing that shift Rod but it is very easy. Pulled that pin pushed the shifter in and all it was to release the shift Rod. I see how it works. When you pull the shifter towards you there is a male pin that goes through the hole of the shifter and the hole on the shifter limkage itself. Again thank you I hope you it cranks all right I haven't done that yet. Keeping my fingers crossed. My buddy next door is in boating and he helped me put the Lower Leg back on, and yes the shifter rod will through you off if it is not lined up just right. I want to try and crank it tommorrow maybe.
