Well thanks to all of your help I'm glad to report the ol 1985 stringer is up and running. Get this, the lake mechanic quoted $4500 plus labor. Heck I only paid $2500 for the whole boat. With your help I was
Able to complete the overhaul for $769.18.
Thanks

Re: Thank you

Congrats! There's nothing that you can't do with a little iboats assistance! :D It feels great to be able to learn to do stuff that would otherwise cost you big $$$. You also get the benefits of better understanding how the different systems on your boat work, and gives you more confidence in operating it knowing that if something does break you're not at the mercy of a high $$ shop to fix it.

Now get out and go boating! :D :D

Excellent!! Getcha' out on the lake soon.

Can't agree with you more. These guys are fantastic sources and generous with their time and expertise. They've saved my bacon twice already at least.
