Thanks for all the input here. We had a flawless weekend and great time on the water. It was the first time I had the whole family (5 of us) out on the boat and I've made boaters of the wife and boys. Our 3 year old daughter was scared at WOT.
-Trailer mods made for easy launch and retrieval.
-Motor worked flawlessly w/new water pump and thermostat.
-Bimini top addition made for a leisurely afternoon crabbing.
First blue crab measured 8" tip to tip and over 18" between pinchers. We all ate steamed crabs for dinner.
The boys and wife are already talking about going back out, so can't ask for much more than that.
We ran around in the South River and were the smallest boat when we ran out in the bay for some sightseeing around Thomas Point light and the Bay bridge.
