Hey everyone just a quick note to say thank you for providing this great forum. I used the top secret files to get my new 79 2hp Johnson purring like a kitten. It is going to do double duty on my canoe and on my 16X48 Crestliner as a trolling (kicker) for walleye on the rivers and lakes.

Simple carb rebuild and adjustments, new spark plug and she is running great.

I'll second that. being able to ask for help and getting it from pros so quick when you don't know where to start. thanks i am getting closer to hooking up the old pressure gas tank to my old Johnson FD-11

I always ask myself where would I be without the internet. A few short years ago you were pretty much on your own and I would not have had the confidence to tackle some of the work I've done without the incredible help from so many on this forum. Too many to thank, but thank you one and all. Rick.

I love this site to. I think it is the best on the internet becuase I love tinkering with stuff and I learn form the best from this site. In fact, I installed for the first time on my pontoon boat a complete power tilt and trim system to use on my 70 horsepower Johnson and it turned out perfect. Can't wait to use it on the water this year. Thanks for everything and look forward to asking question with boats or anything else. Have agreat day and Happy Boating.

Guys, i came here a few years ago, got addicted. you are very lucky that Bruno, chose to develope this forum, as part of the iboats.com family of sites.

when i started working on outboard motors, it strickly was seat of the pants guessing, and you were real lucky to find a manual. i have 50 years of boating, and owning multiple boats and motors.

this is one really big group effort, from many fantastic members who all donate there time and help.
