What a bunch of helpfull mothers! I have seen so many question that exceed the norm with many responses....as for the average guy just trying to fix his rig so that his family can enjoy it.....ryno squat!!! I have never claimed to be a boat mechanic.. therefore I ask advice...and what do I get.....as Homer Simpson says Doh!! you have a water flow problem(Thanks BONDO) you are quite bright..sorry I ever asked

I couldn't tell either. But let me add my two cents. The guys on this fourm have saved alot of family vacations, ruined boats, and probably even some lives. So, thanks Bondo and all of you for your help.

I don't know Bondo. I'm still trying to find my 3.0's Implala. I think it's near the muffler fluid tanks but I can't get the exhaust bearings out of the way to check......

I have a newer boat and don't have issues yet, just regular maintenance questions. I come on this site once a day to read the problems and advise just to learn more. I think the "regulars" do a fine job of helping with something as complex as marine engines and drives with just text. I emjoy Bondo's posts -- I love his get-to-the-point-style of writing. For somebody that tends to ramble (like myself), I find the line-by-line / blow-by-blow style refreshing.

Steve, if you have a Chevy Impala stuck in your drive, you have bigger problems than this.

Chris; I agree, no sense jumping all over someone without giving them an opportunity to apologize. And I am sure Bondo is big enough to accept it. Like others he has always offered the best advise he could, unselfishly.

And, I Maintain All the Equipment...... I was Born with a 9/16ths Wrench in my hand.......... And, I Love Boats................................

I Stumbled onto iboats about 2 years ago....... I was Really Impressed with the Knowledge,+ Camaraderie I found here............ If by chance You decide to hang around a bit, You'll find that I tend to be Brutally Honest..... Not only with the Facts that are presented, But Especially with My Opinion..................

There are Certain Boats...... And Outdrives...... That when Asked, I Will volunteer My Honest Opinion......... There's a post just this week where a fellow is Wanting a 10 year Old, Abused, Broken Bilgeliner, With an Ice Frozen Engine.............. I told him to RUN......... He went for a Test Ride............ The Engine Tossed it's Cookies, All Over the Bilge.............. Luckily, it was Before he Signed on the dotted line........ Just because I stated you Should Look where you've had repairs Already done...... You Don't Like It...... I Asked you 3 Very Relevant Questions......... And, Yes, There ARE Issues, Other than Water Flow Related, that Could cause some of Your Problems.......... Nobody Ever Claimed You were a Boat Mechanic...... But, It IS Your Responsibility to be able to Identify the Pieces of Your boat, So I can Explain Where to Look for Your Issues............. I'm Not going to turn the wrenches For you....... You've got to do That............ So, Come on Back Cliff........ It's Water under the Boat............

Ya Bondo, I feel that way sometimes too. All we want to do is help someone out and this is what we get sometimes. You are handling it better that I have in the past. Youre a valued member, Im sure that some do not realize that we have a life other than here on Iboats forums and sometimes we do not have time to give a detailed explination, Like you said, "Its just water under the boat".
