I had an issue that you guys said sounded like fuel starvation. While checking into it I noticed that the PO bypassed the stock fuel pump and installed a cheap automotive electric fuel pump!!!
Well I replaced the original Volvo fuel pump and fuel lines. New water seperator and rebuilt the solex carb. She is running like a top. AQ125A/270
I also checked all the bellows and it looks like the PO has replaced everything from the bell housing back so that was some good news. The oil in the outdrive looks brand new.
Lake boat is ready for the water. Now Randy803 and I need to get to work on the twin OMC outboards on the Renken offshore boat.....
