Hope this is not frowned upon but I just wanted to express thanks to those 3 in particular.
Yesterday I finally got my 16' Ouachita with a 71 Merc 500 out for it maiden voyage of freshwater Striper fishing.
There were others that helped but those 3 really had the patience to help even with my anal questions. Among other things,
1. Stiff steering swivel pin on my motor
2. New steering system for the boat
3. rotted internal wiring harness
4. attaching a tach
5. hole in my keel
6. Repainting and rebunking a trailer.
The karma must have been good because I caught an 11 and a 13 lber on a day when others didn't appear to be doing well.
I love my boat.
