I want to thanks all of the members that help me in one way or another with the issues I had with my blazer. Many of you offer advise and some even went to the extent to share your all data technical diagrams with me. Thanks to that I started the year about $500.00 poorer but legal after almost 2 years of watching my back (literally) trying not to get stopped with an expired inspection. There is no price you can put in driving in the road and not worrying about getting stopped. I also learned that NC does have a process where they will wave your inspection for situations like mine but I learned that a bit too late.
The transmission was fixed. The issue of the tank not sealing properly comes back every know and then but to fix it permanently it seems I will just have to replace the tank.
