I had a tach that would not work. I read the post below about the wires from the rect.haveing 3 terminals 2 yellow 1 red. well both of my yellow wires were going to the same term. I moved one over to the screw with the tach wire on it & guess what..... I got RPM's does this sound right to yall.<br /><br />Thanks Mark

Your battery might charge right now too. Anyway I think the rectifier has to do with battery charging.
