That Reddish Brown Thread Sealant On Oil and Hydraulic Hoses....

Does anyone know what brand or product this is? I get the feeling it performs better than typical teflon tape or that Permatex Thread Sealant.

Thoughts? If I recall this stuff is also used on the fuel fittings, no?
