They didn't look very big today. 0 - 5 including WI losing the Rose Bowl. Ohio State plays Tuesday. Maybe they can pull off a win.

Good thing Illinois and Iowa won the other day! PSU SHOULD have won, just too sloppy of play at QB, and Northwestern & Wisconsin ALMOST pulled it out. But Michigan, Michigan State, well, they looked like a mediocre high school team - just way out played!

That's exactly what I told the wife. She spent 4 years at State. So around here we're State, WI and MN fans. Sparty on! If WI had any passing game at all they would roll. They had to rely too much on their running game........

Rodrigues will probably be out at Michigan, and Michigan State seemed to get worse as the season progressed ... really thought the Big 10 would have a better showing ...

The Big Ten sucks, no doubt about it. Now it makes TCU's win less impressive.

Re: The Big 10

I was hoping somehow that the Michigan offense would outscore its nonexistant defense. In 3 years Rich Rod has improved the teams offense but the defense has gone downhill. I think he coached his last game. It is time for a change. I hope they go after Jim Harbaugh. He would be a fine match for Michigan football.

Overall the Big 10 sucked this year.

Should be a good contest tomorrow. Petrino has really done some good work down here. I can't help but think the first half will decide the game. GO HOGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here we are again, Big Ten fans, waiting for Ohio State to honor the conference. That's like waiting for your mother-in-law to rub your feet. Never happen.

Tressel should go back to division II.

Tressel won his National Championships in Division 1-AA, (with Youngstown State) not Division II. Big difference.
He's not the problem. The players are the problem.
I agree though, hoping for Ohio State to salvage what little reputation the conference has left is like standing in line to kiss your great Aunt who has no teeth.

Just got back from the daughters b-ball game. JV and Varsity got crushed. NOW I can watch the Sugar Bowl. Looks like Ohio State is dominating. Looks like I missed the best part which was the 1st half....

Great game. Ohio State hangs on, barely, to win against Arkansas. Ohio State salvages a little Big 10 pride. The Big 10 goes 3 and 5 in bowl games. A poor showing for sure.

Re: The Big 10

Barely hung on is an understatement. Arkansas blew it at the end. Not that I wasn't glad Ohio State won, but, the Razorbacks had a golden opportunity to win it and didn't take advantge of OS's turnover deep in their territory.

Now it's b-ball time for the Big 10. OS is ranked #2 and Purdue #10, the rest of the conference is stinking it up.... At the moment................

Re: The Big 10

I was out fighting a mountain fire that wipped my old butt yesterday! At the half I was ready to pass out, but wife had the light on and was doing I don't know what. Till she was done the game was too interesting to go to sleep! A real nail biter at the end!

Speaking as a MSU grad and fan...we're just waiting on the NCAA tourney to start up to reclaim some respect for the conference.:D

Nebraska will help out a bit next year as well for football season.:)

Very little. Used players that should have been suspended, and then couldn't close it out?
It'll be fun to see how badly they beat up on their 1st 5 cupcakes of next season without their stars.

That is if anyone in the Big 10 wants to see Nebraska in the conference. Not that we have a choice, but, I'm not happy about it. Never have been a Nebraska fan. If I heard right, Now the Big 10 has 12 teams and the Big 12 has 10.

Couldn't close it out. Defense stuffed them at the end with the interception. Couldn't close it out, Headline: OHIO STATE WINS DEFEATS ARKANSAS>
