Re: The little sniper has been caught

Because cats have had such a hard time with all the berating and harrassment of members of this board, I think it is safe to say that they should be given a special class designation and allowed to go free without anything incriminating on his/her record. I mean, jeese, it was because of all the abuse that cats, on the whole, have received on this forum that drove this poor, defenseless creature to learn how to break down and put together a sniper rifle, shoot it accurately, and then wreak carnage on those that stiffled the kitty's free thinking.

It is not Kitty that is to blame, it is all of us! So we should all turn ourselves in and let Kitty go free. Poor Kitty!

Remember this when you want to poke fun at a kitty - it is not their fault and you may be the reason for the next sniper attack!

Re: The little sniper has been caught

Man, why do these cats get such a bad rap here? Seems that every cat I have ever owned was a much better pet than any of the dogs I have owned. My cats cover up their feces, some of my dogs have actually eaten it. My cat keeps me warm at night when it sleeps at my feet, the dog stinks up the house. Never have to tell the cat to quit barking. Cat doesn't chase any cars. Cat don't chase the deer away. Dog doesn't catch mice.

Man, I could go on and on. Love my cats, and I don't care if i'm the minority. :D

I do like my dog for rabbit huntin, thats about it.

I hate my stupid, ignorant, lazy, useless, good for nothing, dog. My cat is much better than that friggin dog.

I wanted a lab puppy to train as a duck dog. My wife brought home a 4 yr old chocolate that had been abused. She is very timid, scared of my deep voice, so I cannot even speak without her cowering. She is afraid of the water, yep a lab that hates the water. Gun-shy is the understatement of the year. Shoot a gun anywhere near her and she will run to the next county. I joke all the time that she is my "duck dog"...I shoot, she ducks. She is great with my two boys and one hell of a tennisball retriever, if they ever open a season on them, I am stylin!!

Sorry for the rant :D

We have two cats, brother and sister, and that was the whole litter. The male is an absolute baby that likes to be held all the time, and he will even go for walks with you.The female is her own cat and likes to be left alone.Last Christmas they tore the tree apart but this year they have a toy box full of cat toys so they havn't bothered the tree at all.

Re: The little sniper has been caught

We have an orange tabby that we've had for the past 8 years. He rides the fourwheeler with me and still sucks his bottle. Not only does he suck his bottle, but he'll jump clear across the room to me for it. He jumps to my chest and I have to grab him so I doesn't fall. He's very trusting. Back before we had him cut he was the "king" of the neighborhood. He'll also follow me around like a dog. What I thought was so funny was when we had a stray dog hanging around. He would always ask for food. When we fed him, he would just "act" like he was eating it by barely nibling it and then when we would go away, he would make this weird sounding meow and here comes that little dog trotting up the driveway. He would sit there and watch him eat. I think he felt sorry fot it. Another thing that's funny about him is that I've sat and watched him chase rottweilers, german shepherds, pitt bulls, boxers, and other kinds of dogs out of the yard. It's so funny to watch. They tuck their tails and get the heck outta dodge. He turns sideways and frizzes out the just hauls off after them. It's so funny. Next spring, he's gonna go camping with us on an island in the middle of the lake. He truly is what you would call a "mans" cat LOL :D .

James
