Being the proud owner of a new mercury 60 hp (replacing an old 30 year old chrysler)it was time to take the boat out for a spin.

Having launched the boat at a popular boat ramp, I commenced the starting procedure. The motor turned and turned and would not start. After exhausting two batteries and a constant stream of other boaties shaking their heads, I gave up and went home convinced I had bought a lemon.

As agent 86 Maxwell Smart would say "the old kill switch in the control box"

What a goose!
