Kept our 2yo daughter in daycare today, as Monday they were closed, and we can get an extra day with them. I take the day off so the Wife and I can get some time on the water. It was 81?, 44% humidity with a 10 mph wind. Took the boat out to the St. Croix river. A little over 3 hours and 22 miles we had to return to our normal lives. But it is days like this that all the associated work on the boat is all worth it. :)

As much as we love our kids the time alone is a welcome thing. Sounds like a great time.

I'll be looking forward to the same type of day, hope for Saturday. I've been rebuilding my deck on the house since Tuesday morning by myself in 99/100 degree heat w/ very high humidity. Those 12' 4x4's & 2x6's are ballbusters in this heat. Should be done by noon or so on Friday & then spend the rest of the day staining. All I can think about is getting out on the lake. Hope I can have as good a day as you.:D

The wife and I do the same thing every Friday. Hence the name of our boat "Naked Fridays"
