how many of us have tried to do the tightrope<br />act on the trailer when loading, only to end up<br />wet from the waist up. last spring I ended up in<br />knee deep and it was dang cold! brand new boots<br />never did smell right after that day :rolleyes: <br />so bad the wife threw them out LOL<br />M.Y.

nope pulled my boat in the water forgot to tie it to tailor and drove off look back and boat was floting out that was a cold swim

I fish in a small river and have to load in side current so I do the balance beam thing alot "Hey Honey, hold this rope tight so I can use it to hang on to" Yea Right, wet every time.

Always pull the boat with my pick-up.<br /><br />Don't have to do all that stuff.<br /><br />Let tail-gate down, back in and load and then step onto tail-gate.<br /><br />Yea Right!!!!!<br /><br />Imangine this.<br /><br />A 300# + fellow jumpimg from the front of the boat to the tail-gate that has tail-gate protector on it.<br /><br />Ye-haw, there you go. :D <br /><br />I ain't never done that though. ;)

Been there done that Mellow. I now have those aluminum step plates bolted to the trailer tounge. Worth thier weight in gold!
