I am working on a fuel injected GXI Volvo motor whose fuel pump was whining badly. I replaced the pump assembly (low and high pressure pumps) and noticed there are two very small hoses that go to the coolant system. I suspect that they cool the pump but am not sure.
What do these hoses do and should they ooze coolant when undone? Can it be possible that they are plugged and the fuel pump is not getting cooled (if that is what they are for?
Thanks for your help
Dennis
