After several years of trying the LST 325 will be coming up the Kanawha River to the river front park in Charleston WV for a few days. I hope to go and do the tour of it. I am going to try and watch it going through the Winfield river locks.

Any idea when she'll be coming through the locks? I wouldn't mind seeing her myself.

Its suppose to turn up the river on August 26 and dock in Charleston on the 29, and I have no idea how long it will take then to cycle through the lock, I know the lock is 1200 feet long. I thought I would run over to the lock each day and keep a eye out, I am about 20 minutes away.

I like to catch it coming up the river and maybe get some pics of her. I'll try to remember to keep an eye out and see if I can catch her passing by. Thanks Hawker.

Amazing how much bigger the deck is once you're on board, isn't it? I love the bright work in the wheelhouse.
