Thermostat installation on 88 horse Evinrude

Hello everyone,<br /><br />I have a quick question when installing the gaskets on the thermostat installation. Do you use gasket sealant on both and on each side of the gaskets? Evinrude model E88MSLCER.

hello<br /> usually I use omc adhesive M or 3m super weather strip adheasive on the housing to holder gasket then glue the holder to adapter gasket to the holder with the same. but use perfect seal or equvalent on the adapter side. ya never know if you may wish to remove it again.
