I can find the part #s for the thermostat kit that has the thermo's and new covers.
Don't need the covers.
I just need the part # for the thermostat.
Seems they don't want you to buy just 1 thermostat and insist you get 2 and covers to go with it??
I need just the thermo's and gaskets.
I can find the gasket part #s.
Anyone help with the thermo part #
THANKS!!

Hum... It seems your thermostat didn't make it into the list under your serial number range when doing an auto serial number search.. But the gaskets and cover did.

When doing an auto search of your S/N leads to the newer parts guide part number 90-80319902 that shows serial number range of 0T599000 & Up for the thermostat which is/would be item number 37 shown as (THERMOSTAT, 54°C (130°F) (Part # 8M0057307)) which that S/N range shown is to high for your actual serial number of 0T555086.

So being the serial number range is to high would lead me to the previous parts guide which is going to be part number 90-803199 and that shows another part number and temperature range of THERMOSTAT, 62° Celsius (143° Fahrenheit) which is now Merc part number 833072003 from old # 833072....< Item number 33, http://www.mercruiserparts.com/bam/subassembly/32488/4095/100 From here for a complete list, 225 (3.0L EFI) - 0G760300 THRU 0T408999

If correct, your cover and gasket should be,
3427-62386001 GASKET, Thermostat62386SS/ACT

$1.90$1.862
3519801A1 THERMOSTAT COVER ACT
magnify.gif
$39.41$38.71

To know for sure before ordering you'll want to pull out your old thermostat and try to get some numbers off of it first....then run an image search online under both part numbers for a proper match up.

Also if interested, Sierra offers an aftermarket part number for a lower cost under either part number you may need once found.

Thanks
I checked on Sierra , Sierra's parts are just as expensive as OEM.
140-170$ for the kit.
I tried everything to get the part # for just the thermo but no luck.
Everything goes to a kit for both thermo's and gaskets and new housings.

The ones I needed were the 130d.

I ended up getting something on e-bay. $110. for the kit.

Turns out the kit wasn't quite right either.
The cover has angled outlets and the OEM has straight outlets????
But did have the 130d thermos.
Installed them today.

I just reused the old housing.

Thanks again.
