Thermostat

Had two years of great running, now overheat. What sequence of problem solving would one use? Until my Seloc manual arrives, anyone know where the theromostat is located on a Volvo Penta AQ 131/275? Going the easy route first on running hot. Also, to check next, where is impellor on stern drive?

AQ 131 - 275<br />The sea water impeller is on front of engine,<br />not in the outdrive.<br />When looking from front - lower right side -<br />next to alternator. Will have 2 small brass<br />pipes - 1 in- 1 out. <br />The themostat housing is on heat exchanger,<br />and goes to the head.<br />As I remember ?
