Need help with my 50hp merc.serial number is 6308153 can not find thermostat on motor. Water comes out the pee hole then slown down to a drip. Asalo need diagram of the motor .thanks.....

Do you have 2 letters prior to the number?

A lot of those Merc inline motors did not have thermostats. It sounds like you could use a waterpump rebuild.

As Chris posted that engine does not have a t-stat and needs impeller serviced....

Thanks for the info already done a impeller rebuild just slow to the pee hole. Any ideas

It the water slow to exit the telltale, or does it reduce to a drip? If it reduces to a drip that is an issue. Are you running on the flusher or in the water?
