Thermostat

Hello,<br /><br />I am replacing the thermostat on my 1986 90hp Evinrude. When I took the thermostat out I didnt notice which hole the plastic plugs were in and which holes the thermostats were in with the springs. The two center ones? or the two end ones? Forgot what it was when i took it out.

the plastic relieve valves go in the center holes with the rubber grommet. the springs go on there and into the powerhead adapter.<br />the tstats go in the outher holes.<br /><br />good luck its a pain.<br /><br />reeldutch

so the springs go with the plastic plugs, not the thermostats?
