The last officer only gave me a warning. <br /><br />Do you know why you pulled me over? Okay, just so one of us does. <br /><br />I was trying to keep up with traffic. Yes, I know there are no other cars around, that's how far they are ahead of me. <br /><br />What do you mean have I been drinking? You are the trained specialist. <br /><br />Hey, is that a 9mm? That's nothing compared to this 44 magnum. <br /><br />Hey, can you give me another one of those full cavity searches? <br /><br />Well, when I reached down to pick up my bag of crack, my gun fell off of my lap and got lodged between the brake and the gas pedal, forcing me to speed out of control. <br /><br />Sorry bubba, some of these have been true for me, how about you?

yea kenneth I have heard my share of those in my day. But there are some new ones comming in with the new generation <br /><br />No ss haven't run across that one yet but did have one tell me he smoked pot so he could work every day BTW found a big dubbie in his ash tray.<br />needless to say he missed work that day

bubbakat U just keep up the fine job U's doing. Some of us here respect U for what U R.<br /> My father in law was a deputy Sheriff in Texas for many yeras and he used to tell me all the ones he heard. Got lots of laughs out of them and like you he had some who made remarks that made them miss work also. He was also on the County SWAT Team. Thankfully he never got hurt in all them years.

RickRick1- I respect him a lot more than you can imagine. I reserved with the Sheriffs dept. for 5 years and I now reserve at a local PD, been there for 2 years. I really enjoy police work. I do not consider myself a law enforcement officer, I prefer the title this glorious state has bestowed upon us-PEACE OFFICER. In a rural setting there is just not enough money in the budgets for me to do it full time. I have not collected compensation other than a once a year appreciation dinner from local business in my 7 years wearing a badge. Thats all the pay I get and I provide all of my own eqipment. I unfortunely work for TDCJ for my paycheck. That used to be a good job, great benefits, now its just holding on till I'm vested.<br /><br />Me and Bubbakat have been conversing a little bit and I was just trying to humor him, Lord knows I wasn't trying to disrespect anyone.

I asked a cop once "hey, thats a cool lookin' gun, can I hold it?"----the guy gave me a REAL nasty look--then chilled realizing I was just being a smart azz. -- <br /><br />looking back on that, I will never do such a stupid thing again---always did wanna ask that though---thank God that officer realized I was just a clown--not serious--

Well I hate to admit it, but back in my younger truck driving days , I always enjoyed seeing them smokey bear's hat go flying through the air from the air big trucks made when passing one on the side of the road.<br /><br />Now I see that most states have warnings posted to move over for stopped emergency vehicles.<br /><br />Just like the government to take the fun out of something else. <br /><br />All joking aside, it is dangerous to be stopped out there anymore for sure and I want to say I'm sorry to any smokies that I might have blown their hat into the ditch.

In college I was riding with a guy that pulled over for speeding. As the PEACE OFFICER approached, the speeder flipped open his wallet and said into his open wallet, "Scotty, beam me up, QUICK!" The officer about died laughing, left him off with a verbal warning.

Bubbkat, Pa always told me that when yer fishin with dynomite and the officer asks what yer doing, you light the fuse and hand it to him and say, "Are ya gonna talk, or are you gonna fish?"<br /><br />However I must say I never fish that way and don't plan to. Too many wild stories from the guards at the local prison scares the crap out of me. There is no way I would put myself in a position to end up there! SS
