Thinking of buying a boat

Hello,<br /><br />I'm thinking of buying my first boat in the future. I'm looking for something to just "hang out" on with a little fishing. I live in New Bedford, MA and would also consider taking it out to the Vineyard after taking classes and becoming more experienced. I would want something I can trailer. Any advice people can share with me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
