It does make you proud to see a fellow boater do good stuff like that.<br /><br />I would like to think that most boaters, in the same spot, would do the same.

I think its amazing the heros that we've seen, especially since 9/11. Perhaps there have been folks doing heroic things all along, but the media shows more since 9/11. Here's to the boater in OK and all the other heros out there!<br /><br />BL...

A guy here at my office told me that the mayor claimed these fisherman were in the way. It sounds to me that they saved quite a few lives! Not only did the rescue people out of the water, but if the one guy didn't stop that truck with his flare, who knows how many others would have went over the bridge. These guys truly are hero's for risking their lives to save another.
