<br />With this the opening weekend of the deer season here in Texas, this just leaves me dumbfounded that the grand and glorious state of ours ranks only 9th in Deer-Car Accidents. <br /><br />Come on folks, lets not stand for this any longer. We need to take steps to be sure we are number one when the survey is taken for 2006.

So to carry this through. Would you be suggesting that I should shoot a deer in Texas, place it on the highway, and then take my car and run over it, so that the deer CSI team will conclude that it was hit by a car?<br /><br />I have watched a lot of CSI and I don't think they'll miss the bullet hole.

you dont need to go that far, c'mon now we dont expect you go go that far out of your way... just if you see one standing within 300 feet of the road just make sure you hit him then drag him out there quick.

Fairly simple answer why Vermont is not listed.... We have the poorest deer population in New England!<br /><br />Now as for Moose accidents .... those we have way too many of. When it's a moose involved accident they send two tow trucks.... yup one for the moose!

In Oklahoma we just don't report it, get out a knife and well you know. My nephew has actually ran off the road to get one. Took out about 30' of fence, and went back and fixed it of course.
