I don't know if anybody has heard but the lame duck legislature and Governor are going to pass a gas tax... Nice since they keep it quite before the election. The proposed tax is anywhere between .08-.32 cents per gallon. The public outcry has been strong enough in the past to get it shot down but this time it looks like it will go through without a major uprising. I know petitions sometimes do little good but I suppose it allows us to at least say we tried.
