They're real fun until they turn into a $7-10,000 dollar post hole digger. I've been flying R/C for 20 years. It can be a real bummer at times. Hours of exciting edge of your seat entertainment highlighted by seconds of sheer terror and frustration. Fly the low and slow trainers first....much more forgiving. I always make sure I'm at least "3 mistakes high" before I hand the radio to someone still on the learning curve.
