Who needs a plow? Just run the tractor up and down the field a few times.

Re: This looks like fun!

I would have enjoyed it back 55 or so years ago when I was sixteen. Since the I have had too many “I saw the stairway to Heaven moments” with out of control equipment not made to go fast to think it is still fun.

Like coming down a long hill on a dirt path with a Farmall H with two gravity wagons full of corn and having it jump out of gear some years ago. Or last Fall backing down off a steep hill in with a Deere 450 loader with a steep drop off on one side and big trees on the other and have it drop out of reverse into neutral. You have no idea how fast it seems to be going before my reaction time allowed me to drop the bucket and get on the steering brakes. Or this Winter when I was in a big hurry to move my skidsteer down my lane without giving the hydraulics time to warm up and have it free wheel with no bucket control.

Nope, not for me anymore. I also notice no seat restraints or roll bar on that beauty. I still remember clearly the untimely death of one of my Grandfather’s hands when the tractor he got stuck in mud close to the river came up and over and crushed him.

Too many of us used up 8 lives of luck doing that sort of stunt. No more chances.

Talk about a pucker up moment!

I've had that happen to me too, not fun!
