Any one out there familiar with the 1987 Thompson Adventure? I am considering buying one.<br />I am presently a rag bag sailor but am ready to go power. The Thompson I am Looking at is 25 feet.<br />Any info woould be great.<br /><br />Thanks
I don't know the care that's been givin to the boat you're looking at,But, Thompson Boats are a Superior Quality boat... Built very Solid... There's a bunch of them here on Lake Ontario,+ the St. Lawrence River....
Galillee,<br /><br />Thompson boats were built in my home town of St. Charles, Michigan. St. charles is a small town (about 2000) just southwest of Saginaw.<br /><br />I've never heard anything bad about them. Thompson bought out Browning boats which was previously Aero Craft.<br /><br />I do know that a great majority of the work force was highly experienced and the designs were sound.
