With Carls last outburst here at home, the probation officer was not going to file the violation order. The PO said since Carl passed his drug screen, he said he really didn't think Carl needed to go to Juvie. I didn't think much of his decision, but went along with him.

While Carl was at the physk ward again, he was caught picking on 2 girls.(he is always in trouble around girls) Carl denied that he was and then cussed the nurses out. They told him to go to his room and he refused. So security was called. When they showed up, Carl charged at them! One of them had no choice but to get him to the floor. In the process is when Carl got his head smashed into the floor resulting in the black eye/goosegg on his eyebrow. They even resulted to the tazer. Carl finally was restrained and given a strong seditive.

Now the PO has finally filed the probation violation. He has told me that he talked to Carl for about 2 hours at the hospital. During the conversation he had, Carl convienced him that he was going to change. Carl is very good at this.
So the PO said he was not going to recommend Juvie at this time.

Duh? How many breaks is this kid going to get? Even the counselor said this is what Carl needs. The nurses at the hospital said they don't want him back and that he needs Juvie.

Should I send the PO a letter suggesting that he should rethink about Carl and Juvie. I really hate to see him go. If something is not done now, someone is going to get seriously hurt because each time he has an outburst it escalates more. (even while he is on his meds)

When I was his age and got into minor trouble, I always got the book thrown at me!
Jealous I guess.

Carl has a pattern of 2nd and 3rd chances, and then someway somehow he gets his way. This will not be good when he does turn 18.
