I am unsure why my topic on the argentine mauser was closed. I am merely looking for information to be an educated consumer. If I broke any rules please let me know.

it was probably moved because the subject was a technical question about rifles.........at the top left, directly under "Topic is closed" there is a hyperlink to where one of the mods moved it.
