Three times for me this year...and it sucks

The airlines have lost my baggage again
The previous times i was contacted within 6 to 8 hours, this time it's been more than 12 hours and no word yet, i'm overly upset 'cause there are lots of gifts and souvenirs from our vacation.
I feel really bummed out.

Has this ever happened to any of you?

Yep, arrived in England and found out our luggages were misplaced somewhere in Amsterdam. The wimins were freaked out cause they didn't have clean underwear.

Ours are here in the USA somewhere, i last saw them when we cleared customs at LAX.

Hope they didn't get in an accident! You're not suppose to get in an accident without clean underwear.

There is one piece of good news . . . when they find them they deliver to your house.

This is one reason I alwasy try and carry on. Aussie and European Airlines suck for this though, they won't let you carry what US carriers will.

How was the rest of your trip though?

Has happened to me more times than not or so it seems. I always carry my first days nesecities in my carry on.

How was the rest of your trip though?

Our vacation was terrific; a week was way too short. I did not make contact with Triton, Aldo tried and tried to no avail. Melbourne is looking good for next year.

It makes you wonder how they can keep up with the bags that might contain bombs doesnt it,,,go figure

You lose a day going but get it back on the return.
