2005 OMC controls new not used when installed
I have a problem with my throttle cable unadjusting itself while the motor is running. I have as I type this only 3/4 carb opening in the butterfly. The butterfly is about 1 / 2 inch from parallel or flat across. It was flat the last time I had it out as the boat run very good today 4 MPH slower as of adjusting problem. I adjust it buy turning the cable in or out at the motor but it just undoes itself every time in about 10 minutes or so. There has to be something I am missing as there is just a little tension on the adjuster and nothing to keep it from turning.
