Throttle control loose!!

How do you tighten your throttle control lever?? When it is in neutral it can wiggle/move forward and backwards...Is there a way to correct this or is this normal?? Thanks!

There is a throttle friction adjustment knob below the ignition switch on the standard side mount remote control. But, there are many kinds of remote control, all different.

You can see the diagrams for most OMC/BRP controls on the web site by clicking the parts diagram in the upper right corner and navigating to "OB Accessories" for the year of your setup, then to "Remote Controls":

Hmm...throttle control lever...can you tell us what model engine you have? The word "lever" indicates an older engine, so it would help if we knew what you had.
