I have a quicksilver throttle control system. It is pretty old and I have been told it is a "version 1". <br /><br />The problem is with the switch at the bottom of the throttle arm. I used to be able to apply firm pressure to it and it would go in and leave the boat in neutral and apply throttle. <br /><br />Now I have to smash the palm of my hand into it to be able to accomplish the same thing. I have disassembled the control box and can't seem to see what is causing this.<br /><br />Any ideas or suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks.<br /><br />Tony
