throttle control

on my pontoon boat after it set all winter in storage the throttle moves very very hard worse in reverse is there any way to lube it is a 90 hp mercury in a 2006 princecraft

you can pull the control and lube that up, however most likely teh cable(s) needs replacing

There are you tube videos showing how to clean/lube cables using compressed air. I am sure if yours is dirty and dry it migh work but if there is anything else wrong- you might have to replace it. Cables cost about 50$---so I am not going to spend a lot of time and energy trying to fix a 10 yr old (or however old) cable assy--
