Throttle Linkage On Carb? 350.

Get used to me asking some dumb questions. But I guess if i dont ask then ill never know.

I bought a project boat and have been slowly getting the rest of the pieces needed to make this thing run... anyway the boat im putting together has an edlebrock / weber carb on it with a 4 barrel intake ....and well on the stock 305 / 2barrel that was on it the mounting bracket is way diffrent with the 50amp breaker fuse on it. I did search but there are alot of brackets and id hate to buy the wrong one and i dont feel like welding one up. Is there like a specific one that you guys know of that will bolt right to the back of my carb for my throttle linkage because i already relocated my soloniod and breaker circuit.

Boat: 1997 Sylvan v196 barritz
Serial# H60612 ? or 2713 only two numbers i seen on it other then vin
Orginial Motor for it was a 305 with 2barrel carb.

Engine Year: Not Sure, Not Original Motor, Has a stamp with serial number thats about it. 95+ maybe? When I get home ill post all numbers that are on the motor.
Make: GM
Type: 5.7L With Thunderbolt Ignition (electronic ignition off distributor)

Outdrive:
Merc / Alpha One Gen 2

Looking at the Carburetor its an Eldebrock and on the side with the throttle linkage it says weber. I think they make a kit for this conversion.

Problem: The orginal intake/carb thats supposed to be on there obvioulsy are replaced with aftermarket and the orginal bracket has the 50amp circuit breaker and soloniod on it that to me appears it used to mount on the back bolts of the carb. Even if i where to extend the bracket it will not work because the throttle cable would not be in the correct spot even if it was adjusted all the way in. Just need a bracket that goes on a 4barrel intake/carb setup that reaches the correct spot for throttle adjustment.

I can send pictures tonight when i get home if needed. Thanks Don and anyone else that chimes in.

Ayuh,... Dig through a Mercruiser parts lookup site for a 5.0l, or 350, With the Merc/ Weber 4bbl. carb, in about the serial # range as your's, 'n you see which bracket ya need...
