I am rebuilding my 1959 Johnson 35hp super seahorse and I'm stuck on hooking up the throttle linkage inside the motor. The throttle level will move from slow to WOT without anything connected. When I connect it to the carburetor link it will move from slow to just over start. But when I add the link from the mag plate it will not allow it to move at all.
